Kosterlinjen (formerly Torghatten AB) will take over operational responsibility for passenger ferries between Strömstad–Kosteröarna (as well as Styrsö–Öddö) from September 2026. The ferry service is part of Molslinjen, which together with Torghatten forms part of Nordic Ferry Infrastructure (NFI). The launch of Kosterlinjen is carried out in collaboration between Torghatten and Molslinjen, on behalf of Västtrafik.

We are now seeking an engaged and qualified Captain for our newly built electric ferries, which will become a central part of our future fleet.

As a Captain, you will have a responsible and varied job, where you among other things will:

• Have overall responsibility for the safe navigation and maneuvering of the vessel
• Lead and distribute work onboard for both deckhands (ordinary seamen) and other crew members
• Be part of the ship's safety team and ensure that all applicable safety regulations, procedures, and environmental protection requirements are followed
• Ensure a high level of service and punctuality to the delight of our passengers

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Ship Captain Class VI IF (or V A, IV or higher)
• Engine Officer Class VIII
• SRC (Short Range Certificate)
• Basic Safety
